June gives you the longest days of the year, and on an island whose main event is a sunset that matters more than it sounds. The middle of the day is the problem, and the boat is the answer

Why the late evening is the month's real gift
Because darkness comes so late, June gives you a second usable half to the day that the shoulder months do not.
